A city suburb will be left with no bus services next week due to resurfacing works.
First Bus has announced that a series of road closures will make Old Costessey difficult to reach from October 28 to November 3.
Breckland Road and Richmond Road in New Costessey will be closed for resurfacing works from October 28 to November 1 - forcing the 23 service to travel directly up Dereham Road instead of stopping in Old Costessey.
Norwich Road will also be closed for work from October 28 to November 3.
As a result, the 23A and 24B services will only travel as far as Kabin Road and then run non-stop from there to Roundwell Medical Centre - again skipping Old Costessey.

The 31 service will follow the same diversion route but turn around using Richmond Road, East Hills Road and Longwater Lane to allow customers to still reach the Roundwell Medical Centre stops.
Regular bus services are scheduled to resume on November 4.
