1. Norwich and the Norfolk Broad loop
Starting in Norwich this loop is a long one and requires decent fitness to complete the full run, however, the trail can be broken up into bite-sized chunks.
The route itself runs through the Broads with a few notable stops along the way including Ranworth and The Lion at Thurne.
This route also follows along the coast for a section of the journey giving cyclists a chance to take in the sea, taking around five hours to complete.
2. Norwich and the Marriotts Way Greenway loop
This trail also begins in Norwich but leads up towards the river Wensum and Reepham before returning in the direction of Norwich along Marriotts Way.
Along this route, bikers will be able to see Hellesdon's disused train station shrouded by undergrowth and the beautiful Marriotts Way.
Unlike the first route, this one is a more intermediate ride both in distance and terrain difficulty only taking around three hours to complete.
3. Norwich to Reedham Ferry loop
Along this trail not only will bikers have access to the gorgeous open scenery of the Broads but will also be able to take a well-deserved break on a ferry.
Starting in Whitlingham Great Broad in Norwich, this route follows along the river Bure before arriving at Reedham where a ferry can be taken to cross the river.
This route can be split into two depending on whether you want to ride the ferry or come back the way you came, taking just under five hours to complete.
4. Kofra Coffee loop from Heigham Grove
One of the shortest trails on the list taking a little under two hours to complete with beginner bikers in mind, mostly following along pathed ground.
The route begins at Pembroke Road in Norwich leading towards the Kofra coffee place just off Unthank Road.
From there the route follows down to East Carleton and loops around Ketteringham before returning to the city.
5. Whitlingham Great Broad loop from Thorpe St Andrew
Another shorter trail made for beginners, this route focuses much more on Whitlingham Great Broad than the previous entry leading on to Thorpe Marshes before returning the way you came.
The trail officially begins just outside of Carrow Road and takes around two hours to compete, with a stop along the way at The Barn in Whitlingham Great Broad.
Bikers should be aware that some small sections of this route require you to unmount and walk the bike.
