A man and woman have appeared in court after two men were robbed by people pretending to be police officers.
It follows an incident on October 8 shortly after 6.10pm in St Stephens Square, Norwich, when the men had a phone and a bike stolen by people claiming to be from the police.
After an investigation, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were arrested a day later and taken to Wymondham Police Station.
Dylan Cotgrove, 31, of Dibden Road, Norwich and Georgia Moore, 20, of William Mear Gardens, Norwich, have both been charged with robbery and impersonating a police officer.
They appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and have been released on bail with conditions.
Their next court appearance is on November 7.
