A car parked on a verge in a residential street burst into flames this afternoon.
Thick black smoke was seen in the sky during the car fire in Costessey.
The incident happened at about 3.50pm in Townhouse Road and the vehicle was empty at the time.
A fire crew from Carrow used hose reel jets to put out the blaze and the stop message was received at 4.17pm.
