With restaurants dotted around Norwich, McDonald's is one of the city's favourite places to grab a burger and a milkshake (if the ice cream machine is working).
McDonald's is the world's biggest fast food chain, and with more than 1,270 sets of Golden Arches across the country, it is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the UK this year.
There are currently nine McDonald's in Norwich, with a tenth on the cards at Riverside Retail Park.
Here we take a look back through photographs of McDonald's in the noughties - a time when a Happy Meal was just £1.99 and the Westlegate restaurant was still open.
