An air ambulance was called to an incident in a village near Norwich in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called just before 3.40am to a medical emergency at a property in Poringland.
Several people who live in the area were woken by the sound of a helicopter landing in the area.
A witness reported that the air ambulance landed on the park near the Poringland Community Centre.
Another person said that the ambulance landed at around 4.30am and departed for Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals at approximately 5.15pm.
The East of England Ambulance Services have confirmed that two ambulances and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
