Patients, staff and visitors at Norwich Community Hospital have new outdoor seating thanks to a donation by Cherry Lane.
This value garden centre gifted two benches, now placed in the hospital's Mulberry Garden, specially fragranced to assist patients in palliative care and those recovering from a stroke.
Carol Plunkett, charity development and project manager at Norwich Community Hospital, said: "The benches kindly gifted by Cherry Lane allow space for recovery and resilience for our staff, and a place for rehabilitation and to enjoy the fresh air and for patients to meet visitors.
"Kind gifts from our community such as these, enable us to stretch the NHS budget to deliver even better patient care and treatment across Norfolk.”
Nisha Collins, brand and marketing manager for QD and Cherry Lane, said: “We are always keen to support our local community and being able to provide a space for people to get away from the busy areas in the hospital and relax is really important, so we are delighted that the Norwich Community Hospital has benefitted from this donation.”
