CCTV images showing missing primary school teacher, Anthony Hill, in the hours after his disappearance have been released.

Mr Hill, 37, was last seen at 7.45am on Monday when he left his home in Plumstead Road East in Norwich.

But Norfolk police have now shared images of him in the Co-op Store in Sprowston Road at 9.58am on Monday.

Investigators believe he left the shop and walked towards Mousehold Heath via Gilman Road.

The father-of-two, who works at St William's Primary School in Thorpe St Andrew, is described as white, 5ft 7 inches tall, of a slim build with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing chino trousers, a black checked shirt and a yellow rucksack.

Inspector Adam Binns said: “We are concerned for Anthony’s welfare and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him on Monday morning when we believe he was travelling on foot in the area of Mousehold Heath.

“Our searches are currently concentrated in this area with specialist search teams including the police drone carrying out extensive searches of the land.”
