Where does the Royal Norfolk Show take place?

The annual Royal Norfolk Show takes place at the Norfolk Showground, Dereham Road, Norwich, NR5 0TT.

What are the 2024 dates and timings? 

The 2024 dates are Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27.

The gates are open from 8am to 8pm on Wednesday and 8am to 7pm on Thursday.

What can I expect and who is performing in the Grand Ring?

Tens of thousands of people flock to the Norfolk Showground every year for the largest two-day agricultural show in the country, organised by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA).

Expect 700 trade stands, more than 3,000 animals, a huge food and drink experience, hundreds of attractions and a packed Grand Ring programme.

Highlights in the Grand Ring include the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, showjumping and the Shetland Pony Derby, with full timings available on the Royal Norfolk Show website.

What food and drink is on offer? 

The Adnams Food and Drink Experience will feature more than 100 producers, showcasing cheeses, wines, gins, pickles, pizzas, meats and much more. 

Mysabar will offer dishes from local favourites such as The Bodega, Pommarola Pizza and Christophe's Crepes, alongside craft beers, ales and premium wines.

How can I get to the Norfolk Showground and is there parking? 

The Norfolk Showground is located just off the A47 Norwich Southern Bypass at the A1074 on Longwater Interchange junction.

The route will be signposted on all major roads in the area.

Get one free parking pass per order when you have both an admission ticket and a car parking ticket in your basket when booking online. 

Additional car parking passes are available for £10 each.

Is the event accessible for people with disabilities? 

Accessible toilets are available in all toilet blocks at the Norfolk Showground.

The RevoLOOtion will also be on-site, which is a mobile toilet with an electric hoist, changing table, toilet and wash basin.

It will be located adjacent to the Grand Ring and you need to bring your own sling if you are using the hoist.

Blue Badge parking is available in all car parks and a viewing platform for wheelchair users will be on the south-west corner of the Grand Ring.

Are dogs allowed? 

Yes, dogs are allowed on leads - only guide dogs are allowed in the food and drink areas and livestock marquees and buildings. 

Are tickets still available? 

Yes, the ticket prices are as follows - adults (17-64): £29.50 (two-day pass: £50), children (5-16) and carers: £14, ages 65+, students and accessible tickets (ages 17+): £25, family ticket: £75, with free entry for children aged four and under.
