Tributes have poured in for a “lovely” pharmacist who was “supportive to everyone around her” following her death aged 28.

Yin Tung Chan, who went by the name Nicole, died at her home on Earlham Road in Norwich on May 16.

A former graduate of the University of East Anglia, she had been due to start a new job with the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust.

She had previously worked as a clinical pharmacist for the Ketts Oak Primary Care Network.

Since news of her death broke, tributes have poured in from those who knew her.

Mel Arnup, of Norwich, said: “So shocked, can’t believe it. Such a lovely lady inside and out. RIP, Nicole. Sending my love and deepest sympathy to her family.”

A former colleague, Emily Keenan, said: “Oh Nicole, this makes me so sad. She was so loved and was supportive to everyone around her. You will be missed. All my love and strength go to her partner and her family.”

Jenny Whiting added: “So so sad. Nicole was so lovely and loved by so many. Sending love and hugs to her family.”

Echoing the same sentiments, Kat Gant said: “So terribly sad. She was the kindest soul and will be greatly missed. Thinking of her partner and family.”

While Emma Smith and Julie Read simply added: “So sad. Such a lovely lady. She will be missed by many.”

Originally from Hong Kong, China, Ms Chan leaves behind her family and her partner of seven years.

An inquest to establish her official cause of death will take place later in the year at Norfolk Coroner’s Court
