A man in his 50s has been charged in connection with a spate of burglaries in Norwich.
It follows six burglaries and a theft between May 17 and May 19 including a burglary at a shop in Castle Street, a burglary at Cinema City in St Andrews Street and a theft of a car from a property in Cozens Road.
Officers arrested a man in his 50s on Tuesday at 5.32am on Haymarket and he was taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning.
Michael Dyer, aged 51, of Brazen Gate, Norwich, has been charged with four counts of burglary with theft, two counts of burglary with intent to steal, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled Class A drug.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was remanded into custody ahead of his next court appearance on June 21.
