Crooks who stole three golf buggies from a Norfolk golf club a month ago are still being hunted by police.

The buggies were taken from Gorleston Golf Club in Hopton-On-Sea during the night with the thefts believed to be linked.

One of the buggies was taken from the Warren Road-based club to Gorleston beach cliffs before it was left to roll to the bottom, crashing into railings and onto the beach, causing damage.

A second buggy taken from the club was taken and left abandoned on a bridleway off Primrose Way and Falkland Way and was found burnt out.

While a third golf buggy was also taken and rolled down the cliff tops near to Jay Jay's Cafe, damaging railings and landing on the beach.

The thefts happened overnight on Tuesday, February 20 and the morning of Wednesday, February 21.

Police launched an investigation following the thefts and a spokesman said "enquiries are ongoing".
