Faster train journeys between Norwich and London are set to be introduced.
Greater Anglia intends to introduce more train services and improved journey times from June.
On average, Norwich to London services are planned to be six minutes faster, as the rail company changes timetables to meet customer demand after a recovery in passenger numbers following the pandemic.
Key improvements will include faster journey times between Norwich and London Liverpool Street, with most off-peak services timed at one hour and 47 minutes.

Services leaving Norwich at 8am and Liverpool Street at 5pm are planned to take under one hour and 40 minutes.
Normal peak summer season additional services will also run on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays between Norwich and Great Yarmouth.
Jamie Burles, managing director of the rail firm, said: “With new trains operating all our services, we have transformed rail travel in our region, offering an excellent travel experience, more seats and a more punctual and reliable service – which is consistently the best in the UK.”
