A person who was involved in the running of Norwich United has hit out at the "mess" the club is in following allegations of secret filming, abuse and death threats.
They said the club had been left in limbo over whether it would field a first team again after a national Football Association investigation was launched.
Norwich United's former manager Darryl Tate also claimed he had been punched in the head twice by a member of the club.
Now a person - who asked not to be named - who was involved behind the scenes at Plantation Park has revealed the uncertainty the club has been left in, claiming a dozen season ticket holders had been left without a refund despite not seeing a senior match since September.
They said: "It's quite a mess and has been since September.
"The main thing is the chairman [John Hilditch] owns and runs the club with no committee and we've got about a dozen season ticket holders requesting a refund.
"They paid £120 and got five games, most of them are pensioners, it's a lot of money to them.
"There's been no action from the FA yet but we'll see."
Starting out life as Poringland and District FC in 1903, the club's success saw them move to better facilities in Norwich in 1985, becoming Norwich United in 1987 and moving to Plantation Park in Blofield in 1992.
The Planters resigned from the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League Premier Division and their results were expunged, with relegation expected to be abolished.
The former club official added: "A lot of people seem to think it's likely they'll start again in the league below, but if that happens what is to stop any team that's struggling from pulling out for the rest of the season and then going again the next season in the league below?"
Norwich United did not respond to a request for comment.
