Trains from Norwich are being delayed due to a trespassing incident.

Services between Ely and Norwich have been affected due to the trespasser between the Spooner Row and Eccles Road stations, near Attleborough.

The driver of the nearest train is investigating the area and Network Rail staff are also en route to the site.

A spokeswoman for Greater Anglia said: "Due to a trespasser being reported to be on the railway, services between Ely and Norwich are not able to move.

"Train services running through these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until further notice."
