A fire in Hethersett is being treated as arson, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called just before 7pm on Tuesday (May 23) to reports of an outbuilding fire off Firs Road.
The former Hethersett Woodside Primary & Nursery School building became engulfed in flames which caused thick smoke to billow into the sky.
Two Norfolk Fire Service crews from Hethersett and Earlham attended and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
It is understood that an old classroom building caught fire and no one is believed to be hurt.
Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that it is investigating the fire as arson.
