The initiative, organised as part of a partnership between Suzuki Global and Brundall boat firm Marine Power, was a joint effort to remove litter from the waterway.

Teams from both organisations made their way down the river on Thursday in a selection of boats, with a second team walking the bank collecting rubbish that couldn’t be reached from the river.
Using litter pickers, gloves and bags, the team uncovered items ranging from glass bottles and plastic cups to the giant cuddly toy.

All rubbish was then taken away for sorting, recycling and appropriate disposal.
Justin Grapes, sales manager at Marine Power, commented: "We have had a lovely day out on the river.
"It was great to see everyone come together and join forces to help clean up this beautiful stretch of the River Yare.
"We plan on making it a regular event."
Anyone who would like to claim the giant penguin should contact Marine Power in Brundall.
