A dog rescued from a kill shelter has been left without a home for the second time after his owner had to give him up.
Snowy was rescued as a puppy from a Romanian kill shelter where he was kept in such ill conditions that he became severely ill.
He was taken to the REAN rescue kennels in Norfolk with a group of other dogs. However, Snowy was overlooked and left there for five years while countless other dogs were adopted.

He was eventually given a home by a friend of the charity's owner, who then discovered he had a kidney disease which is now being treated with special medication and food.

Unfortunately, his owner cannot keep him after May, leaving him facing the prospect of life back in the kennels.
Bagdat Ozarslan, the charity's owner, said: "Just when Snowy had a taste of a home life, he now needs to come back to the kennels where he is always miserable and hides away."
"At home, Snowy is happy, gentle and good-natured. His foster mum adores him and feels so so sad about not being able to look after him for longer."
The charity will continue to cover his food and medical bills at his new home and they are desperate to finally find Snowy a stable home.
He can be fostered by emailing: reanrescue@outlook.com
