A well-used cycle path which keeps a village connected to the city's outskirts could be in jeopardy.
The surfaced cycleway and footpath runs from Oaks Lane in Postwick to the Postwick Interchange next to the park and ride site - which residents fear will remain closed.
The shared-use pathway is on land leased by Norfolk County Council but the lease is due to be terminated in the next six months.
Once the land is returned, the council said this could result in the removal of the facility.
A county council spokeswoman said: "The land in question is the extension land and the current park and ride site is not affected.
"We remain committed to re-opening the park and ride service when passenger numbers on other park and ride services return to 75pc of pre-Covid levels."
The park and ride was Postwick's only remaining bus service.
The spokeswoman added: "We recognise the benefit of having a pedestrian and cycle link and will be engaging with the landowner about this before the termination of the lease."
Green Broadland district councillor Eleanor Laming, who represents the Brundall ward, fears the path may not exist in the future, meaning there would be no safe route to the Postwick Hub and Broadland Gate Business Park for people from the village.

"It's not been designated as an official highway by the county council, so they do not have any responsibility to maintain it," she explained.
"I am really worried we're going to lose the park and ride, so are the villagers and those leaving east of Postwick.
"And with fears we could lose the shared cycle path, Postwick - from an active travel point of view - is going to end up marooned.
"It's okay if you're a car driver, but to get out of the village in other ways, there isn't a safe route.
"The area east of Norwich is expanding and, if that path goes, there will be no connected active travel in place."
