A Norfolk teenager stabbed to death in broad daylight in the centre of Ipswich's shopping district has been named by police as James Quigley.
The 18-year-old, from Wymondham, was attacked near the town's Cornhill on Tuesday afternoon.
Two suspects were seen fleeing the scene and they remain on the run.
According to some reports, they may also have been from Norfolk.
A post mortem examination found that Mr Quigley had suffered four stab wounds to the torso.
The attack happened at about 3.35pm on Tuesday in the busiest area of Ipswich, close to branches of Primark, JD Sports and Starbucks.
As the incident unfolded, horrified shoppers fled into stores and cafes, while some rushed to give medical assistance to the teenager.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the area, but Mr Quigley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The street was sealed off as armed police officers and a helicopter from the National Police Air Service hunted for the two men who fled the scene.
Police have described the murder as a "brazen" and "targeted" attack and are understood to be focusing their investigations on CCTV footage from immediately prior to the attack and to trace the suspects' movements as they fled the scene.
A Section 60 order - giving officers extra powers to stop and search - has been in force in the town.
Floral tributes and candles have since been placed at the site of the attack with one message to the 18-year-old stating: "We all love you. We will meet again some day bro."
