A courageous little girl who battled an incurable brain tumour for four years will be honoured with applause ringing out at Norwich City's next match.
Amber Sheehy died at 11pm on January 14, just one hour before her ninth birthday, with her parents Jon and Amanda by her side.
Now Amber's Army, a charity set up in the youngster's name, is requesting that fans have a minute's applause during the Canaries' game at Coventry City on Saturday which kicks off at 12.30pm.
Lee Potter is a City supporter and good friends with Amber's mum Amanda, who has pleaded with fans of both teams to honour the eight-year-old saying.
Lee said: "After speaking with the family we would love to get a minute's applause, in the eighth minute of the Coventry game, in memory of this amazing little girl who was voted [City's] Fan of the Season.
"For all those that are going please could we make this happen and make it the loudest it could possibly be.
"I'm sure something will be done during the home game too but with the game being on Sky Sports it will show all the family that we are thinking of them in this most desperate of times."
The Canaries tweeted their support of the applause saying: "We're encouraging our travelling support to take part in the eighth-minute applause in memory of Amber Sheehy this weekend against @Coventry_City.
"We'll also #ClapForAmber in our next home game at Carrow Road."

Amanda Sheehy, Amber’s mum, said the Coventry game has important symmetry and significance adding: "The Coventry match is an iconic one because when they last played at Carrow Road in September, Amber and I were in Coventry.
"We met a lot of fans and players there who I’m sure will help spread the word."
Coventry tweeted out to their own fans: "Norwich City fans will be taking part in a #ClapForAmber at Saturday's game, in memory of young fan Amber Sheehy.
"This will take place in the eighth minute, when we'll show Amber's photo on our big screen.
"Our thoughts are with Amber's family and friends."
