PLAYFORD RUSSELL BERTIE Passed away suddenly on October 29th. Much loved Dad to Perry, Father-in-law to Dawn and Grandad to Lee. Reunited with wife Jean. You were a great Dad and will be sadly missed. God Bless x x x. Dad, you’ve shown me how a dad should be from the memories I have. You and Mum have shown us all that family and love is the most important thing. With sad days for us left behind but hopefully happiness for you seeing Mum again, that’s where you wanted to be. Thanks for everything Dad, love you always from all of my heart, Ady and Sam. Grandad, God called your name so softly only you could hear, and no one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near, the golden gates stood open, ready for you to appear, there stood Nanny ready for you to tell her what she wants to hear. Always love you, always miss you, Ellie x x. The funeral service is to take place at Norwich City Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, December 7th at 9.45 a.m. Flowers by 4.30 p.m. the day before may be sent c/o East of England Co-op, St Stephen’s Square, Norwich, NR1 3SS.
