BROWN WILLIAM (Billy) Passed peacefully at his great age of 105 years, on June 18th, 2022. Much loved dad of Michael and Maggie, grandad to Beverley and Jon, Justine, great-grandad to Ben and Ellie, great-great grandad to Daniel, Lewis and Scarlet. Probably the last Survivor of the 5th Battalion, Beds. and Herts POW’s after the fall of Singapore. Funeral service to take place at Earlham Crematorium on Friday, July 8th at 2.45 p.m. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, payable to the Royal British Legion or Age UK, may be given at the service or sent c/o George Bush Funeral Service, 93 Oak Street, Norwich, NR3 3BP.
