Almost 700 people have booked visits to Norfolk's tips ahead of next week's controversial introduction of timed slots.
And council bosses said they expect the 'click and chuck' bookings to increase from Monday - when people will need to have a secured a 15-minute slot to take waste to the county's 19 recycling centres.
The contentious change has attracted criticism, saying it will discourage people from recycling and trigger a fly-tipping surge.
But the Conservative-controlled council rejects that claim and says it needs to make the change to reduce costs.

The council said as of midday today (Friday, November 15), there had been 654 bookings with a "steady stream" during the week and no issues with the system.
Officials said, judging from other authorities which have booking systems, most people tend to book either on the day or the day before they want to visit.
