An inquest has opened into the death of a man who died at home earlier this year after taking MDMA.
David Cowburgh, who was born on July 3, 1965 in Dumfries Scotland died at his home in Memorial Way in Lingwood on June 29 this year. He was 58 years old.
Senior coroner, Jacqueline Lake, read out a statement which stated Mr Cowburgh was identified by his son William Cowburgh.

A report from doctor Ibrahim confirmed Mr Cowburgh, of no occupation, died "directly due to MDMA toxicity".
MDMA, also known as ecstasy or molly, acts as both a stimulant and hallucinogen coming in either a powder or crystal form.
Area coroner Jacqueline Lake set the full inquest to begin, at Norfolk Coroner's Court, on March 19 next year.
