Drivers will face disruption on a main route into the city due to resurfacing work.
Aylsham Road will have a northbound one-way closure between Suckling Avenue and Mile Cross Road on August 18 from 7am to 12pm.
It includes the closure of four other roads with junctions along the stretch, Woodcock Road, Mile Cross Road, Losinga Crescent and Bolingbroke Avenue.
The closure will enable a road rejuvenator to be sprayed on to the road surface, providing time for it to soak into the top layer.
This will help to preserve the asphalt surface and extend the life of the road.

A diversion route will be signed from all directions and access to properties will be maintained, although some delays will occur.
A spokesman from Norfolk County Council said: "We thank people for their patience while this work is carried out."
The work which will cost £17,170 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and its contractors.
