A major route in Norwich will close for roadworks costing £30,000 later this month.
The A146 Lakenham Road will be blocked between 1pm and 6pm on August 18 while a road rejuvenator is sprayed on to the road surface and soaks into the top layer.
It is an early intervention treatment which should make the road last years longer.

The closure will be in place from the Hall Road roundabout to the Ipswich Road traffic lights.
Motorists should follow a diversion route which utilises the A140 Ipswich Road and Hall Road.
Access to properties will be maintained but some delays may occur.
