A city centre homeware and lifestyle shop has closed less than a year after it opened.

Arca Home initially opened at the former Trollbeads shop in Swan Lane, opposite Turtle Bay restaurant, on July 19 offering an array of art, decor, glassware and other fittings.

As well as selling homeware the shop also hosted monthly drinks events and offered a selection of canned and bottled drinks.

However, just 10 months later the shop has closed, with 'to let' signs in the window and stock still inside.

Staff at businesses surrounding the Lanes shop said it was "surprising" how quickly Arca had come and gone.

The business still has a website selling goods however its Instagram page hasn't been updated, or added to, since January 12.

Before Arca moved in, Trollbeads closed its store there in 2019 and was replaced by Scott and Co barbers, which closed in 2022.

Attempts to contact Arca's management have proved unsuccessful.
