Tortoise expert Jerry Fife is set to give a talk at Easton College.
The college has teamed up with Norfolk Tortoise Club to welcome Mr Fife, one of the world's only private breeders of giant Galapagos tortoises, from Phoenix, Arizona.
The event is set to take place on the evening of March 18 from 7pm-10pm.
Besides other common and rare species of tortoises, he also keeps numerous lizard species and is an experienced speaker and author.
The non-profit Norfolk Tortoise Club promotes tortoise welfare, conservation and rehoming through educational events.
Club coordinator, Eleanor Tirtasana, said: "Whether you are interested in conservation, the natural world, tortoise keeping or rehoming a tortoise yourself, this evening promises to be a feast of fascinating stories and information."
Entry, costing £5 for members of the club and £7.50 for non-members, includes refreshments, access to a raffle and the club's shop.
The event is free for Easton College staff and students, with pre-booking suggested.
All profits from the evening will go towards completing the Norfolk Tortoise Club's new hospital building.
